Administrative SupportTheresa joined Matter in 2023 and sits in our Denver office. She was drawn to Matter’s approach to serving entire families, not just one piece of their investment portfolio, and enjoys working with our team to create exceptional experiences for Matter families.
Theresa brings a wealth of experience to Matter. Over the past 20 years of her career, she has excelled at building and training teams. She has managed 200-plus employees and created multiple processes and trainings to build operational efficiencies. She has also worked with accounting and internal audit teams to ensure timely, accurate reporting, and she skillfully communicates with associates from entry- to C-level, to bring new ideas to the table.
A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Theresa truly enjoys challenges – especially if they involve making lists and streamlining tasks. She likes to help her colleagues tackle everything from estate and tax planning to banking coordination and cash flow management and enjoys supporting our family communication and learning practice, as well.
A Colorado girl at heart, Theresa believes a great day is one spent outside – whether hiking with family, paddleboarding, or strolling through a park with a friend. She also likes to volunteer for Volunteers of America and has leveraged her hobby of card-creating to start a group that has made more than 10,000 cards for Meals on Wheels and Letters Against Isolation. When time allows, Theresa also does mock interviews and LinkedIn reviews for veterans transitioning to the workforce with Hire Heroes.
