Associate Director of Employee Experience
Jess joined Matter in 2024 and works from our St. Louis office. She’s a Professional of Human Resources (PHR) with a Master of Management in HR from University of Maryland and brings more than 15 years of strategic HR leadership to Matter.
Our firm culture sparked Jess’s desire to join Matter, and she appreciates working for a company she feels is dedicated to employee success and well-being. Through her role, Jess is committed to helping Matter employees be and do their best, so we can provide our client families with the very best experience.
Day to day, Jess enjoys working with Matter’s team leaders and managers to help them mentor, coach, and motivate their teams, improve their own effectiveness, and shape a better work environment for everyone. Through her bigger-picture focus – driving organization growth and operational improvements – she strives to help our firm continue to evolve and thrive.
Outside of work, Jess loves to see new places, try new foods, and meet new people. She appreciates the way travel expands perspective and opens her eyes to different cultures and ways of life. She also enjoys checking out the local food scene in St. Louis with friends, taking her dogs on long walks, reading, and spending summer weekends at the lake.
